BB Events Company started as a single Kansas City DJ with a simple idea: be the life of the party. Today, we're a full-service entertainment team. DJs, MCs, wedding coordinators, officiants, lighting designers, and 360 photo booth attendants serving Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbia, Jefferson City, Topeka, Wichita, and surrounding markets.
Our story
Austin Blackwell started BB Events with one goal. Make events feel the way the people throwing them imagined.
What began as a single DJ at backyard parties and bars has grown into a five-person team across DJ, MC, wedding coordination, officiating, lighting, and 360 photo booth. Everyone on the team shares the same standard. Everyone is trained to read the room, hold the timeline, and move the night forward.
We're a Kansas City company. We work weddings in Liberty, Lee's Summit, and Overland Park; corporate parties downtown; quinceañeras across the metro; and we travel to Lawrence, Topeka, St. Joseph, Columbia, and Springfield for weddings that need the right team. Most Saturdays book 8 to 12 months out.
